Here are some suggestions for your special Branson Valentine's celebration.

buckinghams prime rib

Buckingham's Prime Rib

For a romantic evening that both of you will love, we would suggest Buckingham's Prime Rib and Steakhouse. With excellent customer ratings, Buckingham's has earned the Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor. Serving a good variety of fine dining options, including seafood, lamb, and the in-house aged steaks, this restaurant is sure to please the palate.

Tour a Winery

Branson offers some of the best local wine in Missouri. Stone Hill Winery is a notable attraction, with a free tour of the winery where you can witness each step of the wine making process. At the end of the tour you will be offered a tasting of some of Stone Hill Winery's wines and juices. Tours and tastings can be customized to fit your schedule too, so if you've got time constraints, skip the tour and get right to the tasting!

Branson Scenery

Go for a drive: Branson offers beautiful scenery and you will find many places to pull over and take some photos. The rolling hills makes a great backdrop for your couple's selfie. Make sure you post them on Facebook and makes your friend wish they'd thought of Branson for their Valentine's Day! Bonus tip: Put together a playlist for your drive that makes your companion feel special!

Sunset at Table Rock Lake

Sunset at Table Rock Lake

Catch a sunrise or sunset: Don't forget the picnic supplies! The Ozark Mountains offer a glorious view of the sun as it welcomes the day or bids it adieu. Head to Table Rock Lake and watch the beautiful colors on the water and in the sky. Or, find your own perfect spot, that special one you scoped out ahead of time that will forever be "your spot" in Branson!.

Silver Dollar City

Act like kids together at Silver Dollar City: Experience the thrilling rides like Outlaw Run, or just stroll through the 1880s themed shops and shady lanes. You'll feel like you stepped back in time together. And don't forget that with admission to the park, you can also gain entry to Marvel Cave, which is honestly one of the most incredible sights I've seen in the Midwest!

Titanic Museum's Grand Staircase

Titanic Museum's Grand Staircase

Renew your vows on the Titanic: Sweetheart month at the Titanic Museum offers a very special opportunity. If you've ever given any thought to renewing your vows, just imagine doing it on the $1 million replica of the Titanic's Grand Staircase! Afterwards, enjoy the interactive tour and have an exciting adventure with your sweetheart.

Dogwood Canyon

Dogwood Canyon

Explore nature together: Branson has so many natural formations, parks, camping opportunities, and endless trails for hiking. We suggest the 2200-acre landscape of Dogwood Canyon National Park. A tram tour can take you on a journey through hilltop prairies, and your other options include horseback riding, trout fishing, and biking on the canyon floor. Or just take a simple stroll, hand in hand, past waterfalls, through wooded glens, and past the Hope Wilderness Chapel (regularly booked for weddings).

Catch A Live Show

The Haygoods

No list of Branson activities would be complete without a mention of the wide variety of shows available. No matter what kind of entertainment you enjoy, Branson's theaters will deliver. We have a few suggestions for you:

  • The Haygoods. Sold out almost every night, with some incredible talent!
  • The Magic and Illusions of Rick Thomas. Simply Amazing!
  • The Acrobats of China at the Yakov Theater. Stunningly Beautiful!

Shopping Galore!

Stroll through the outdoor mall at Branson Landing, and both of you will find something to bring home to enjoy. My husband's favorite shop is The Pepper Palace, where he can sample the hot sauces and pick out a new one (as if we don't have bottles and bottles of various spicy sauces already!), and the whole family loves to visit Bass Pro. You'll find something for everyone at the Landing! While you're here, take a walk along Lake Taneycomo, as the Landing is right on the waterfront. You can even dine at the restaurants that overlook to beautiful lake! And if you're looking for a real steal of a deal, check out Tanger Outlet Mall, where you can find clearance clothing, luggage, shoes, and some of the best fudge in the laShopping at Tanger Outlet Mall

Just stay in and relax!

Branson offers wonderful rooms where you can relax, watch a movie in bed, climb into the jacuzzi, or have dinner in the privacy of your own room. We suggest the Themed Jacuzzi Rooms at Stone Castle Hotel. These suites include a jacuzzi right in the room with you, a king size bed, and a different theme for each room. Our favorite is the Camelot Room, with stone details around the tub and a full wall mural. Other themes include 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Aloha, Arabian Nights, Sherlock Holmes, and more!
